JTS Gas & Plumbing Services take gas safety seriously, and all of our engineers are Gas Safe Registered.


Landlords are required, by law, to comply with the Gas Safety Regulations Act which involves all houshold gas appliances and pipework to be checked every 12 months and be in possesion of valid Gas Safety Certificate.


As part of our services we offer to undertake Landlords Gas Safety Inspections, which include the following:


  • Check all gas appliances for gas tighness
  • Check standing and working pressures (if testing points are available)
  • Check burner pressure & gas rate against the manufacutrers guidlines
  • Check for provision of suitable ventilation
  • Testing of boiler flue
  • Check operation of flame failure devised
  • Investigate any evidence of unsafe operation and report to person responsible
  • Issue of Gas Safety Certificate, commonly known as the CP12 upon successful completion of inspections.


In the event of any failure regarding the Gas Safety Inspection the Landlord will be contacted immediatley and no further works will be undertaken without full permission.
